Between September 2014 and July 2016 the Talyllyn Railway held a series of events and galas to mark its 150th Anniversary. Included in these events were two unique gatherings of locomotives at Tywyn Wharf station. One involved the locomotives Prince  and Russell  from the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Heritage Railways respectively. The other brought together all the surviving UK-based locomotives produced by the firm Fletcher, Jennings & Co. for the first time ever.

This book records these celebrations in  over 170 photographs taken by a number of photographers, with captions and text by Ian Drummond. These seek to capture these events and also reflect their many different aspects.

All profits from this book will go to the Talyllyn Railway.
